“Screening and Eviction” training workshops

The “Screening and Eviction” training workshops were designed to provide Public Housing Authority (PHA) residents and officials with the guidelines and regulations associated with the adoption and implementation of fair screening and eviction procedures used to prevent or enforce anti-crime and illegal drug use in PHAs. The 500-participant training sessions addressed the most prominent PHA housing issues, resident screening and eviction rights and responsibilities, and PHA strategies for effectively implementing screening and eviction policies and procedures.
The workshop also provided an open forum for addressing suggestions, comments, concerns, and best practices. DB developed a Web site to be used by workshop participants for registration and the submission of best practices.
