Commitment to Quality
At DB, quality improvement gets more than lip service. In 2008, DB achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV) Level 2 designation. This designation demonstrates DB’s commitment to applying proven processes and adhering to best practices for all projects, enabling us to meet government standards for quality, cost, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.
DB is currently pursuing both ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems (QMS) certification and a CMMI-DEV Level 3 rating. This will require undergoing another rigorous audit of our protocols and practices for corporate infrastructure, project management, and overall quality management. Although structured and executed differently, both ISO 9001 and CMMI standards are based on strict criteria for organization-wide processes that promote continuous quality improvement. DB’s compliance with both sets of standards demonstrates our adherence to internationally recognized models of management and process excellence.
