Peer Review and Grants Management

DB supports the entire grants management process using innovative IT approaches and electronic commerce solutions that lead to improved performance, quality, and efficiency. We have proven business tools, procedures and relationships with organizations at local and national levels. DB has experience in interacting with a variety of technical disciplines and varied groups that ensure proven practices will be used. Moreover, our competent specialists are experienced in using E-Reader Software which manages all information related to the technical review process and allows reviewers to review remotely. We prepare and distribute grant applications and other materials electronically; we provide technical assistance to applicants, reviewers, and clients by e-mail, the WEB, FAQ and live responses. In addition, DB’s support includes coordinating and facilitating the peer review process; managing pools of subject expert consultants; development and monitoring of tracking systems for monitoring of grantee performance management; report generation and other document handling functions and disposition of archive materials. In order to meet archival needs, DB has extensive space available to store bulk materials and to maintain an onsite distribution and mail handling center. For the Department of Education, DB has conducted 200 peer reviews consisting of more than 12,000 applications. We have provided the full range of peer review and grants management support services to other agencies including NASA, HHS, DHS, and HUD.
