Administrative and Logistical Support for Reviews in the Department -- All Principal Offices
The Department of Education issued the Multiple Award Performance-Based Task Order for Administrative and Logistical Support for Reviews in the Department as a means of providing products and services to individual offices across a wide range of tasks related primarily to discretionary application reviews. The contract was issued to four Department of Education contractors and DB has been successful in winning all tasks issued thus far under this vehicle.
DB has been awarded two task orders under this contract: one for Logistical and Peer Review Support to the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) Program and one for Logistical and Peer Review Support to the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) Program. These reviews are to provide for a competitive, objective evaluation by well-qualified reviewers chosen for their ability to assess a proposed project’s quality. These reviews are the foundation for higher-level funding decisions and help ensure that awards are fair and impartial.
