Schedule Announced!
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) invites members of your agency to participate in a two-day financial management training seminar offered at various locations across the country. OJP has scheduled 14 seminars nationwide from January 2008 through December 2008.
The Regional Financial Management Training Seminars are designed for individuals responsible for the financial administration of formula and/or discretionary grants awarded from Federal grant-in-aid programs administered by the Bureaus and Offices of OJP and DOJ, including the: Bureau of Justice Assistance; Bureau of Justice Statistics; National Institute of Justice; Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention; Office for Victims of Crime; Office on Violence Against Women; and the Community Capacity Development Office.

The seminars will cover the discretionary/formula grants awarded by the DOJ/OJP program offices listed above. Officials from OJP's Office of the Chief Financial Officer will lead all sessions.
There is no registration fee; however, attendees are responsible for all costs associated with their participation in the seminar, including transportation, lodging, and meals. The seminar format is informal and participants are invited to dress casually. Attendance is limited, so register as soon as possible.
